Dubious
editGrave is given as Charles' place of birth without a source; nl: doesn't have a source for it either. de: lists Arnhem and cites ADB for it. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 21:29, 13 May 2013 (UTC)
- Some more research: the Nieuw Nederlands Biografisch Woordenboek (New Dutch Biographical Dictionary) lists Grave, but the Biografisch woordenboek der Nederlanden has 'te Arnhem, "op ten huyss to Grave" ... zegt Van Hasselt' ('at Arnhem, "at the house at Grave", says Van Hasselt) so I guess the historians aren't really sure. Then again, I'm not really sure I understand the medieval Dutch quote given in the BWdN. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 09:30, 14 May 2013 (UTC)
