Third-largest urban park?
editIt's not the third largest park at all! Swope Park, in the larger neighboring big city in Missouri, Kansas City, is about 1,900 acres-- making it bigger than Forest Park. This statistic is wrong and I am removing it.
Off the top of my head, I can think of three urban parks that are larger:
- Franklin Mountains State Park in El Paso, Texas: 24,247.56 acres
- South Mountain Park in Phoenix, AZ: 16,283 acres
- Memorial Park, Houston, Texas: 1,466 acres
There may even be more, but it appears that Forest Park is not the third largest. Ufwuct 00:00, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
- There are in fact more parks in the U.S. that are larger than Forest Park.[1] Ufwuct 00:04, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
- Don't compare state parks to city parks, it defeats you. DaronDierkes (talk) 01:42, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

NPOV template added
editHowdy fellow Wikipedians, I went ahead and added a NPOV section template to the geography section as much of the information there seems outright promotional for the neighborhood without citation. Most concerning was the uncited proposition that "the building boom shows no sign of slowing down," which is an observation that, without citation, falls short of encyclopedic merit to say the least. Other info such as the "unique atmosphere" also seems overly promotional and really does not belong in an encyclopedic entry on this area. I might clean this up in the coming weeks myself if no one else gets around to it first, but adding the template seems like a good first step. Cheers! Jake (talk) 10:43, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
