Make sure you don't remove the bit about train conductors. Makes it all worthwhile. Pavium 04:56, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Is it really androgenous? The disambiguation page lists it as feminine, and I'd certainly call it that. 129.22.57.6 21:12, 14 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Just would like to point out that the bit about Lolita is incorrect. Nabokov is actually referring to the play Carmen. 68.90.156.183 (talk) 01:44, 2 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

The bit about Lolita is completely incorrect; in the story, it's not referred to Clare, first of all because when the song appears in the book it isn't Lolita that sings it, but Humbert, and because it's about 250 pages before clare appears and starts to have importance for lolita and humbert. For this song, humberts also uses the name carmen to call his beloved lolita. --79.41.145.215 (talk) 14:11, 12 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Possible addition: Carmen Jonathan Camerieri, American trumpet and french horn player, although he goes by the name CJ Camerieri or CARM. -- 2003:E5:172E:E61D:9D4B:1774:9DC3:7F54 (talk) 11:48, 20 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
