Note that in the Causes section, it says that agriculture uses 80-90% of the area's water. Elsewhere in the article where it talks of the specific decrease of human use of water, it says that agricultural use also went down (but doesn't say by how much). These statistics seems important - but if you look at the source article for the "80-90%", it is a general estimate for the world, not specific to the Cape Town area. So it's probably better to find a better statistic- but it is important to have the breakdown if indeed agriculture is using the vast majority of the water but the focus is mainly on the human use. Impact on building codes?
