Talk:Cambridge Antibody Technology

Latest comment: 7 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

This page has been generated as this company his played a significant role in the development of certain scientific techniques, which it has successfully exploited and, together, occupies a unique position in the history of biotechnology business. Knowledgejwl (talk)

Looking at the article history, and as I'm a newbie contributor, there seems lots of instructions. Can anyone explain what they mean?:

  • "Requesting speedy deletion (CSD A7)"
  • "minimal media mention satisfies csd, add cleanup tag"
  • "Removing hangon template, no SD tempalte"

Speedy deletion criteria A7:
An article about a real person, an organization (e.g. band, club, company, etc., except schools), or web content that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant. This is distinct from verifiability and reliability of sources, and is a lower standard than notability. This criterion applies only to articles about web content and to articles about people and organizations themselves, not to articles about their books, albums, software and so on. The criterion does not apply to any article that makes any credible claim of significance or importance even if the claim is not supported by a reliable source. The criterion does apply if the claim of significance or importance given is not credible. If the claim's credibility is unclear, you can improve the article yourself, propose deletion, or list the article at articles for deletion.
I added this tag because I didn't believe that the company satisfied this criteria, but as TeaDrinker pointed out, the company has received some media attention which does not qualify it for that particular criteria. The hangon template is only necessary when the speedy deletion template is still on the page. Let me know if you have any other questions. [mad pierrot][t c] 21:09, 12 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

20:58 13 July 2009 - overhaul of the IP history section, with links to PCT numbers on esp@cenet. I can't seem to find out how to indicate this type of change in the 'Edit Summary' space.
