Comments
editCongratulations Rosser1954 on all your good work re Ayrshire in general. Can you tell me anything of the source of your information regarding the name the 'Brandy Well' or its specific location within Caldwell Estate? I am currently looking at another 'Brandy' reference and hope to add some information soon. Crowwood (talk) 10:19, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
Restoration Man
editI have updated the details of the tower and provided a link with the Restoration Man controversy. I note that someone added a comment that the extension was stone built and timber clad. Rosser Gruffydd 10:04, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
Date of the Tower
editThe date of the present day tower is likely to be 16th century at the earliest although the foundations may well be much older. Clarified this with a citation. Rosser Gruffydd 11:29, 20 December 2017 (UTC)

Photo Request
editAs mentioned in the article, the tower has suffered a controversial restoration. Images are available on the net, but I'm not sure about copyright issues. Maybe some user could add an image. Bumptump (talk) 19:59, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
