edit- Heinrich Harrer
Doesn't Heinrich Harrer deserve mentioning? I know little about the subject so I daren't write anything myself, but he is probably one of the more famous Austrians to have anything to do with Buddhism, especially with the success of the Hollywood film "Seven Years in Tibet".
