Year of birth

edit

According to the obituary in the press, Hambly died at the age of 71. So either 1938, as stated by Whiticker, wasn't his birth year or the papers have it wrong. Anyone have another source for 1938? Or a source for 1937? Florrieleave a note 03:14, 31 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's getting worse! This ref has him at 72. WWGB (talk) 05:54, 31 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Have there been any death notices in the newspapers? I don't get the Sydney papers unfortunately. Florrieleave a note 11:05, 31 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hambly's funeral notice [1] confirms he was 71. That means he could not have been born in 1938. WWGB (talk) 00:45, 3 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
