Terrain map

The contrast on this map (http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/File:Wpdms_nasa_topo_blue_mountains.jpg, "The Blue Mountains") is not great enough in my opinion. The location of the Blue Mountains needs to stand out more. (I realize there are many maps like this one, including one for the Wind River mountains in Wyoming.) All of these maps need to be changed so they are easier to see. --AJH (talk) 21:18, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Well, I'd say talk to Decumanus who created them, but he hasn't edited in two years. So the next best way to get things like that changed is to do it yourself! Or if you're not good at graphics, post a note someplace where folks who are can see it. Maybe someone at WikiProject Oregon would want to help out. Katr67 (talk) 22:00, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Highest mountain

edit

What about Rock Creek Butte as the highest point in the Blue Mountains? --Obersachse (talk) 18:32, 29 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

At 9,106 feet, it is slightly lower than the 9,108 foot Elkhorn Mountains already listed in the article... Hostager 03:46, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Though after a bit of map study, it would appear that Rock Creek Butte is a peak in the Elkhorn Mountains, and might indeed be the peak referred to, seeing as there's only 2 feet difference. Hostager 05:34, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
