Sale to Permira

edit

"The sale is due to be completed by the end of 2006" - a bit outdated? I don't know much about the sale but I bought a Birds Eye product today and it still says Unilever on it...is it old stock or has the sale fallen through or has it gone ahead and the article just not been updated? Fish Fingers in Grimsby

edit

The factory in Ladysmith Road Grimsby didn't make Fish Fingers for at least the last 3 years of it's life. I'll edit the page eventually if there are no rebuttals on this talk page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.195.90.86 (talk) 18:37, 12 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ben Whishaw

edit

As per the recent Graham Norton show, Ben appeared in Birds Eye commercials for curry. The anecdote was that the "steam" from the freshly microwaved dish had to be made using cigarette smoke. CapnZapp (talk) 09:42, 9 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Looking a bit younger in those days. Here he is, in all his cringe-worthy geekiness. Maybe we can find a secondary source apart from just the GN show ancdaote? Martinevans123 (talk) 09:50, 9 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
