Open questions on accuracy and potential/required updates
edit1. The source "Tom Kucharski - Rozwiązania informatyczne spółki Softwareplant" (in Polish). Retrieved 2018-05-14. no longer points to a valid article. It, and quite possibly the claim based on it as well, should be removed, or at least updated.
2. Should the developer still be considered SoftwarePlant, or rather BigPicture, or rather Appfire? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.228.232.11 (talk) 16:20, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
Contested deletion
editThis article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because: 1. there is about 10 additional sources, but these sources are in Polish language, while the software caters to global market. 2. the software is well-known in the quite hermetic project management world, while remains almost unknown among consumers. --Martin DE (talk) 16:03, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Martin DE: Only third-party sources with no connection to the business will be considered towards establishing whether this software is notable enough for inclusion - see Wikipedia:Notability (software). English-language sources are preferred because this is the English Wikipedia, but non-English sources will be considered if they satisfy the definition of a reliable source. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:20, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
Contested deletion
editThis article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because BigPicture has almost 200 questions on Atlassian community proving its notability: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/forums/searchpage/tab/message?q=bigpicture&page=19&collapse_discussion=true&search_type=thread --31.11.172.26 (talk) 17:31, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
- Almost all self-published sources (message forums, blogs and social media) are not considered reliable sources, and therefore won't count to establishing notability. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:12, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
Contested deletion
editThis article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because (a) two additional independent sources were added (the most reputable business newspaper in Poland), (b) none of the four sources has connection to BigPicture. Atlassian is an Australian enterprise, not at all connected to SoftwarePlant. BigPicture only integrates with their Jira. --Martin DE (talk) 22:10, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
