I checked my National Geographic World Atlas and it doesn't go into great detail within the State of Orissa. So I went online and found a physical map at Maps of India. It shows the Mahanadi but doesn't show the tributaries mentioned in this article. It shows a Tel, but not a Telen, and doesn't show a Bhede. A detailed 19th century map of the central provinces has more rivers labeled than any other map I've seen, but I didn't see Bhede on it.
I have little doubt that this river exists, but there needs to be some reference to it somewhere or the article just can't stay. The countless Google hits all originate in this article. I recommend finding an atlas or map with the river on it. Perhaps a hydrological map or drainage study? Pnoble805 (talk) 00:45, 29 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
