This article really needs contributors. While Betty Noyes certainly seems to have been a notable person, it seems to be very hard to find information about her. Several articles I was able to find on her through a Google search seemed to have some pretty good information about her, including one article which looked like it had a comment from one of her children and which indicates that she may have gotten married to someone with the last name Hand, but unfortunately it seems many of these articles require payment or a ProQuest subscribtion.Givememoney17 (talk) 03:22, 8 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

On the one hand I have not found any sources which explicitly state that Betty Noyes was married. On the other hand the article by her child lists her name as Betty Noyes Hand, a name which does not appear in other sources. Also, her child's last name is Hand and one source does call refer to Deborah and her parents as "a family". While there is no explicit evidence, the evidence does seem to heavily suggest that she was married. It's hard to think of another explanation for the name change, except that since she was behind the scenes, her full name may have been misreported. Is there enough evidence to have the article state that she was married? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Schnapps17 (talk • contribs) 13:20, 14 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
