I removed the claim that the song "Into the Night" is "about a 16 year old girl but not from a romantic point of view" because it was unsourced and would appear to be very difficult to support from the lyrics. ("If I could fly/I'd pick you up/I'd take you into the night/And show you a love/Like you've never seen...") If an actual source shows up, that can be added to the article. I also removed the claims that the song is the 27th or 28th most frequently played song on the radio and is played at least once a day on the radio in every major city in the U.S. because they were unsourced and seemed very difficult to confirm. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 07:29, 19 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

When Mardones performed in Honolulu at the Hawaii Theatre on Saturday, September 25, 2010, he told the story of the circumstances under which he wrote the song and confirmed that it was inspired by a 16 year old girl "but not from a romantic point of view." She was one of three teenagers in a family he helped financially after the kids' father deserted the family. If he put that information on his website would be it considered "sourced" for our purposes? (66.162.249.170 (talk) 02:37, 7 October 2010 (UTC))Reply

"Into the Night" section of the article

First off, the section is poorly written, and as the cleanup note suggests, is not written in an encyclopedic tone. This section of the article should go into discography. If someone disagrees, it should be rewritten and be placed below "Personal Life". — Preceding unsigned comment added by XXBludnmunyXx (talkcontribs) 22:27, 24 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
