Removed stale POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV

edit

An old neutrality tag that appears to have no active discussion has been removed from this page per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever any one of the following is true:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant

Based on the tagger's edit summary, their primary objection was to the characterization of the effect of the Turkish invasion of 1199. That text was removed several years ago, at this time there is no obvious overarching NPOV problem, and there is no evidence of ongoing discussion of neutrality, so I've removed the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! Merger proposal

edit

I propose that Middle Bengali literature be merged into Bengali literature. I think that the content in the Middle Bengali literature article can easily be explained in the context of Bengali literature, and the Bengali literature article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Middle Bengali literature will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. Requesting wider attention

edit

I felt article Islamic_literature is in bit of neglect so I added my note on talk page there, requesting to take note of Talk:Islamic_literature#Article_review. If possible requesting copy edit support. Suggestions for suitable reference sources at Talk:Islamic_literature is also welcome.

Posting message here too for neutrality sake

Thanks and greetings

No mention of Satyajit Ray?

edit

Satyajit Ray in my opinion is a very remarkable character in Bengali Literature, he wrote really good pieces of literature like feluda and professor shonku, among others. Someone should include him. I will do so if I have the time.Organesson (talk) 09:35, 27 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
