One thing I find odd about Wikipedia

Is that regardless of the fact that I alone wrote this entire page, my user name does not show up in its history at all since it was broken off of the 2008 Summer Olympics bids page where I had done my 15 hours of work and moved here. Promise to improve the environment

I've read this secion on 08:39, 8 August 2008 (UTC).

There is a sentence containing:

"Official data during the Aug. 8 to Aug. 24 Olympic period indicates air quality was actually worse in 2006 and 2007 than in 2000 and 2001."

Basing from the sentence, this date would refer to August 2008. How could there be an official data for August 8 to August 24 when these dates haven't passed yet? The reference for this (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/04/20/AR2008042002044_pf.html) shows that the news clip was posted on Monday, April 21, 2008. No, it's correct. You're just not reading it right. Though it is a bit confusingly written:

• "Official data during the Aug. 8 to Aug. 24 Olympic period" (The exact time of year the games will be held)
• "indicates air quality was actually worse in 2006 and 2007" (During that same time of year, Aug 8-24 of 2006 & Aug 8-24 of 2007)
• "than in 2000 and 2001." (During that same time of year, Aug 8-24 of 2000 & Aug 8-24 of 2001)

Tiananmen Square Protests still censored?

I sent several links to the picture of the "Tank Man" to my friend who was visiting in China and staying at his grandparents' place (in Wuhan, Hubei), and he reported that he could see the picture from every link. Therefore, I think that bit about the Tiananmen Square Protests still being censored is wrong, and was written based on an assumption. They aren't clear on the full details, but most know the reason behind it and the general action that occurred (which seemed pretty accurate to me).
