reference for stage name line?

edit

Who says it's from a street in a place he hung out at? Always assumed it was related to gangster Bugsy Seagal.58.152.10.249 (talk) 04:13, 10 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Categories

edit

This article is in categories under Sigel, Beanie. Why? I seem to recall that Sigel was part of his address, rather than a surname. Tim Ivorson 5 July 2005 10:01 (UTC)

Edits

"Eventually Beanie Sigel, Jadakiss, and Styles P squashed their beef and performed together on Sheek Louch's album After Taxes on the song "Kiss Your Ass Goodbye"."

Uh, no. Only Sheek was on the track with Sigel. Styles was on the remix with Sheek only. Jada was on neither of these... --Tainted Drifter 23:53, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Correction

edit

It says he made his debut on The Roots' album Things Fall Apart. But the album was released several months after Vol. 2...Hard Knock Life. StanHater (talk) 18:02, 10 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Right but if you look in the liner notes for Things Fall Apart it says they recorded that particular song months beforehand, and Sigel said the same thing as well, they did that song about a week before he did the Jay-Z record. PCP MC (talk) 9:54, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Sourcing per WP:BLP

edit

Please review the info box at the very top of this talk page for information on sourcing information about living people. This is an encyclopedic article, not a marketing tool to promote the latest PR feud, so please do not add content unless it can be well sourced. Flowanda | Talk 01:44, 2 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

I added a reliable source. WildQ (talk) 02:10, 2 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

The Truth

edit

No writing related to his first album?

I was wondering about this as well. I know the article on the album is fairly extensive but it seems as though there should be something here. I will try to distill the main parts and add it in ProfessorEditor (talk) 17:43, 24 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ideas For Edits

edit
  • Overlap

I'm going to be working on correcting some of the overlap or misplacement of some items between the Personal Life and Legal Issues sections ProfessorEditor (talk) 17:43, 24 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Religion

I know that Beans' and Freeway's careers are fairly connected but do we need to refer to Bean's religion in the context of Freeway's? ProfessorEditor (talk) 17:43, 24 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Issue in Jay Z beef section

Is Beans' announcing his retirement through Give the Drummer some relevant to his beef with Jay-Z? If no one is opposed I would like to relocate this info. ProfessorEditor (talk) 17:47, 24 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Tone

I know this is a hip-hop article about a fairly underground artist but I'm going to be making minor edits to "formalize" the tone and reduce slang. Ex. change "his old stomping grounds" to "hometown." Should improve readability to readers whose first language isn't English. ProfessorEditor (talk)

Clearer dates for Legalities section

edit

Do we have clearer dates for the charges in 2002, 2004, and 2010? I feel like a month would help with a visual consistency of the section at minimum, as well as provide stronger information. Txmormon97 (talk) 04:40, 10 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
