Australia
I'd like to see some references for the Australia portion. I'm not familiar with every university in Australia, however, the section covering Australia is not true for any University I've come across in Queensland. I've never come across courses requiring an extra honors year. Honors are awarded solely for good performance in a standard undergraduate degree. I would like it if someone could find some references to prove me wrong.
I also think that the entire second paragraph should be cut since it is only talking about postgraduate studies on a page about undergraduate studies. --Spuzzdawg (talk) 11:34, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- Open up a reputable Australian uni website and you'll see for yourself! Your comment is one of the most ridiculous statements regarding tertiary education that I have ever seen. Completely without any grip on reality. Queensland does not represent all of Australia. If anything you should have looked at Melbourne and Sydney first. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.186.236.162 (talk) 17:47, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
- For a concrete example see Australian National University. The extra Honours year applies for some three year-type regular degrees (Finance, Economics, Actuarial Studies, Statistics, and Commerce majors such as Accounting or Management), not Law (4 year LLB) or Engineering (4 year BEng) where Honours is based on performance across the entire degree or part of the degree. How Honours works varies by the discipline. It isn't a blanket extra year for every course at the same school. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.186.236.162 (talk) 17:47, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
United States
Why is the entire section dedicated to a Bachelor's with honors? It makes no mention of Masters or PhD, just 3 solid paragraphs about an honors degree. I would propose a rewrite as this seems to assume that the person reading is overly familiar with the US system already. Quickone (talk) 01:19, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
- Why should the bachelor's article talk about doctorates? Rmhermen (talk) 01:42, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

Section about high school studies does not apply, because this article is about university studies at bachelor (or equivalent) level. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.71.77.54 (talk) 11:31, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
Costa Rica and El Salvador
These are Central American countries, but are listed in North America — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.31.231.57 (talk) 14:53, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
No BS Degree
On the list of types of Bachelor's degrees, the venerable BS, Bachelor of Science, is missing. Steelangel (talk) 22:13, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
