Sources conflict as to the correct structure of this compound, with some showing the unusual bis(2-aminoethyl)amino substitution, while others show a much more common diethylamino group. Intuitively it seems that the second structure is more likely to be correct, and this is what is shown in more recent reviews, so probably the structure shown in the original papers was incorrect.
