Although the cited Knesset website gives Elmalih's year of birth as 1876, this could well be incorrect, as other sources (including Encyclopedia Judaica and the Hebrew language Wiki-article) give the date as 1885, which appears more consistent with his early life biography, and I have adopted this date in the article, subject to more reliable sources being cited.
