The exact names and acronyms of the two forerunner organisations show some variation across even official sources. Or perhaps they changed at some point. I believe I have them right, but would welcome absolute confirmation:
'National Association of Australian State Road Authorities' (NAASRA) [not 'Australia']
'Conference of State Road Authorities' (COSRA) [not '.. of Australia' (COSRAA)
