1460 (27-6-2019)
editIf there is something sensible to say about the Austrian railways in 1460 (as of 27-6-2019), it should be (with references) not only in the introduction, but also as first item under History. It may allude to the Reisszug but the Reisszug would make sense only in the history of railways in Austria and in the world. Being a private railway at that time, it is not the beginning of the federal railway. The claim that the same BÖB logo was used since 1460 makes clear to me that the whole thing is a joke. I take the responsibility to revert these contributions. --Dominique Meeùs (talk) 21:23, 27 November 2019 (UTC)

ÖBB → Austrian Federal Railways – English language sources refer to the organisation as Austrian Federal Railways. In Austrian sources the full name of the organisation is "Österreichischen Bundesbahnen" which when translated to English is Austrian Federal Railways. Therefore the page should be moved per WP:COMMONNAME. No prejudice to an alternative move to Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB). TarnishedPathtalk 08:53, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
