The history, governance, and geography sections all need to be expanded, and a transport section needs to be added, but if that was done to a decent standard there's an outside chance the article might be ready for GAC. The economy, demography, and education (possibly even the landmarks) sections are now up to standard for a GA. Nev1 (talk) 13:19, 4 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
With a little collective WP:GM TLC this would easily be a B-class. There's some interesting stuff here at www.audenshawlocalhistory.org/, and while it's not likely to satisfy the WP:RS police, it gives an indication what kind of things we could/should look for and include. Thanks for the additions so far though Nev1, much appreciated. :) --Jza84 | Talk 23:12, 4 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks ClemRutter, hopefully we can get that woven in asap.
Just thought I'd thank those who helped improve the page following the press coverage surrounding Audenshaw School on 2 September. It's a shame the article was in this state for the 161 readers we got on that day, but a least we improved it for the few hundred who arrived in the following days. There's no doubt this page will be high profile again as the case surrounding the alledged killing spree planned for Audenshaw continues to be publicised, therefore it would be great if we could keep up the progress. --Jza84 | Talk 01:34, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Historical Centre of Audenshaw?
Where is the historical centre of Audenshaw, Audenshaw as we know it is spread out. There must have been a focal point from where it grew, eg. with shops etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.200.120.187 (talk) 23:52, 9 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
