editI am new to editing and am working on a revamped convection page on my user sandbox page. Just wanted to let people know and to ask for suggestions and/or additions... I'm pretty busy so I'll probably only get to this on weekends at best. Thanks! Atscgeek07 (talk) 07:11, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Don't understand this article
editI am very curious about what a convection is as I review a lot of hurricane and tropical storm articles. Unfortunately, this article never actually explains what a convection is in terms I can understand. Perhaps you can simplify it. Regards, —Mattisse (Talk) 16:26, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
- I agree, I could not understand the article at all and I have a graduate degree in the humanities. The article needs to be written in plain English that a high school student can comprehend. This is a situation where Brittanica or World Book is a better resource. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.16.188.200 (talk) 21:51, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

The article needs help
editThis article is in need of some serious help, if anyone wishes to render it. The lead is way too short. There are minimal inline references, and they consist of external links. The article is too techinical. While I appreciate the expansion that went on recently, a significant editing effort is needed before this article could be improved enough to reach C, let alone any higher class. Thegreatdr (talk)
