The result of this discussion was consensus that the two pages should be merged. The merge proposal recommended that Asthma UK be merged with British Lung Foundation following the merger of these two organisations IRL, and the discussion returned a unanimous vote for the merger to be taken forward. This organisation (Asthma UK) has merged with British Lung Foundation, to form Asthma + Lung UK. Each of the two organisations has its own article (links below). I created a new Asthma + Lung UK article (draft here) but have been told this should be done as part of a merger.

The organisation is notable because its research is regularly covered in the news and is used to inform parliamentary debates. The three most reliable sources I used for the draft article are: BBC News, the UK Parliament website, and the Scottish Parliament website.

Hey @KTnow, this merge does not seem controversial so you can go ahead and do it in my opinion. Choucas Bleu (T·C) 13:16, 23 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you @Choucas Bleu - I will have a look at the next steps on the Merging page instructions. I may come back to you if I struggle, if that's ok. KTnow (talk) 11:24, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I also support this merge. I think this can be done boldly and doesn't need consensus, but it looks like we have it anyways. Toadspike [Talk] 08:44, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your feedback. I've now closed the discussion. And I'm working through how to merge the pages. KTnow (talk) 11:18, 27 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
