Shane's last name
editIt does seem pretty clear—given the camera work and the fact that Shane responds to Coach Beiste—that his name is the first one she barks out when telling him, along with Azimio and Puck, to show up for tryouts. But while "Tinsley" is probably the most common spelling for the name she says by a couple of orders of magnitude, there are variants such as "Tinsly", and we don't know how his last name is really spelled. My take would be to remove the last name until we see an official spelling of it somewhere. Thoughts? BlueMoonset (talk) 17:11, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
- The closed-captioning spells it as "Tinsley". - Jasonbres (talk) 18:55, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
- Do we know whether the closed-captioning is provided by Fox, or added by another service? If the latter, it can't be considered reliable; if the former, I'd imagine it could be. BlueMoonset (talk) 19:02, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
- It is provided by 20th Century Fox. - Jasonbres (talk) 19:34, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me. I'll pull together a standard episode reference. BlueMoonset (talk) 20:41, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

Image?
editGreat job, BlueMoonset! I have enjoyed watching this article expand. Is there another image that could be added to the Reception section? The information presented is fantastic, but an additional image might break up the text a bit. Keep up the phenomenal work! --Another Believer (Talk) 15:57, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
- I've added an image of Heather Morris (Brittany) to the "Music and performances" subsection because she is so greatly praised; it needed to be on the left side because the image should look into the article (or at least straight ahead), which left it unsuited to the right side. Otherwise, it might have been nice to try to come up with another image for the Critical reception section and have that be left and this be right to keep the alternation going.
- Hope you think it's now ready for prime time, because I'm submitting it for GAN... BlueMoonset (talk) 03:24, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
- Looks great! I won't wish good luck... you don't need it! --Another Believer (Talk) 03:33, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
Article title
editWhy the move to include "Glee" in the title? There is no other article titled "Asian F"... --Another Believer (Talk) 15:08, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- It doesn't make sense to me or to Frickative, who attempted twice to engage Rmdl2600 on that user's talk page after today's first and second moves (the first of which she reversed), only to have both entries deleted without comment. Mike Chang has been similarly changed, though for a third time. Any suggestions on a next step? Please feel free to revert unilaterally; I've never moved a page before. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:48, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- I moved the article. Let's hope it is left alone. --Another Believer (Talk) 16:02, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you! Any chance you can also revert Mike Chang, currently (and incorrectly) Mike Chang (Glee)? It won't let me when I try; either I'm doing something wrong, or the multiple moves (including a three-cornered one by Rmdl2600) are precluding a move now, even though it's currently a redirect. If not, we may need to involve an administrator. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:05, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- I think an administrator is needed. --Another Believer (Talk) 19:39, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for getting back to me. As it turns out, Frickative has since started the formal move process on the Mike Chang talk page. BlueMoonset (talk) 19:56, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- Great! If only people would use talk pages more often... especially when dealing with page moves. --Another Believer (Talk) 20:04, 24 October 2011 (UTC)

Accolades
editThe episode was nominated at the Creative Emmys; don't remember for how many awards. Can someone add the nomination(s) in the reception or create an 'accolades' section? I don't have the time at the moment. --Sofffie7 (talk)
- There was a single nomination for cinematography; I think it would go in Production if anywhere, but certainly not in its own section. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:29, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
- Oh just one?! Yeah then sure an 'accolades' section wouldn't be useful ;) --Sofffie7 (talk) 21:53, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
