editThere is nothing wrong with listing this song. It's a significant piece of the jazz catalog of Howard McGhee, it has four distinct tie-ins (McGhee, the record, and the Black Lion label's catalog) in the one or two sentences. I'm trying to source which "Bell" this is through a guy in Australia who is more up on Howard McGhee than I am. It's a song stub that could use fleshing out, but it is not worthy of deletion. As for sourcing, the reference link is fine, and is corroborated by other discographies that list Bell as the composer, and McGhee as the arranger of that tune on that album. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Theclevertwit (talk • contribs) 17:30, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
- That the song exists has nothing to do with its notability. Please read WP:Notability (songs). Has this song been "ranked on national or significant music charts", "won significant awards or honors" or "been independently released as a recording by several notable artists, bands or groups"? If you can provide sources and information on those areas, then it can stand as its own article. If not it should be deleted or made a redirect to the artist.
