The German wiki is no source, IMHO. Sebastian scha. (talk) 18:04, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

WP:CITE does say to WP:CITE#SAYWHEREYOUGOTIT.
Also, for copyright reasons, I thought it was quite useful to indicate what had come from German WP.
But as regards the verification issue, the German article draws closely from the Landesarchiv Baden-Württemberg March/April 2005 Archivale des Monats feature, as the ref in the article cites, and that is a WP:RS. Jheald (talk) 18:29, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
I always AGF, but to use a wikipedia for reference is ... discussible. For copyright reasons using the template {{translated}} here on the talk page is enough, as it's done for all translation (see also this discussion). You may add the {{de}} to the article itself.
Also, I doesn't question the Landesarchive source. In my opinion, it's better to link the reliable source directly (with the {{citation}} template), and if you had a look at http://www.landesarchiv-bw.de/web/45763, so this is your source. Sebastian scha. (talk) 19:00, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
OK; changed as you suggest. Jheald (talk) 22:27, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
