In my opinion, this article either does not verifiably satisfy the Notability criteria for Organizations and companies, or it may violate the Conflict of interest guideline, or perhaps it is a Copyright violation.

Wikipedia articles must be based on reliable sources to verify any claims of notability. Even though the lack of third-party sources in an article is not grounds for deletion in itself, an article with absolutely no sources (or only external links to unreliable ones, or self-published sources) suggests to some editors that multiple independent reliable sources may not, in fact, exist.

Although I am considering tagging this article for deletion according to the Deletion policy, I am nonetheless willing to assist User:Libleft (talk · contribs), and other recent contributors to this article, to make some constructive improvements to it … I do not have time to examine this article in depth at the moment, and it may improve over time, in which case this warning was premature.

Please respond on this Discussion page, instead of on my Talk page, in order to avoid fragmenting the conversation.

To better understand why I have used this template, please read Flag templates for deletion warnings … I apologize if some of the expressed possible concerns may not be appropriate in this case. Category:Flagged articlesÆthelred (talk) 15:02, 29 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

It's hard to disentangle this group from others with similar names, but the following searches might help

Hi, I do not claim ownership over this article nor am I the original creator of this article, I have however contributed to it. I feel that the Anarchist Federation, being the largest anarchist organisation in Britain deserves to be represented in this encyclopaedia for educational and historical purposes. Obviously this alone does not mean that it complies with the notability criteria for organisations. It has however been referenced by different groups, for example; the British Library includes "Resistance", the paper of the Anarchist Federation on their online catalogue: http://catalogue.bl.uk/F/N1Q3DUYS2G6KYJDVMM7L19RM9KS2P53DX838DM7JR4ADTY4LAP-79027?func=full-set-set&set_number=089007&set_entry=000006&format=999 Additionally, the Anarchist Federation has been mentioned in third party news sources, such as the Daily Mail here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/news/article-1555714/Square-Mile-on-May-Day-alert.html From the Telegraph here: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/8127332/Student-tuition-fee-protests-police-failed-to-monitor-anarchists-internet-chatter-planning-violence.html There are many other references also, however they may not be what you may consider 'reliable' as most do not fit into the criteria of 'interest group' in the sense that they do not lobby governments for socio-economic change but see them as a hindrance to their struggle. Would these references have to be included in the actual article itself? Thanks for flagging this up for my attention though and sorry for the late response. -- Libleft (talk 17:18, 21 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
