editThis article has gone from being encyclopaedic to containing a large amount of trivia, and a good deal of false information.
- For example, the Earl of Stamford may well have owned Stamford House; it certainly must have been named after him, but he certainly did not live there: the family home locally was (indeed is) Enville Hall.
- The list of pubs is trivial and should be removed
- Notable residents ought where possible to be linked to articles. Peterkingiron (talk) 21:34, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
