Interesting questions
editI suppose that some questions along the following lines would be in order : 1) Where is it possible to get hold of Allen Hatchers PhD thesis (it's always nice to see such work and compare it to the theses of other mathematicians).
2) Are there any nice visualisations of his work? Has he gotten anyone to make computationa movies of what it is that makes some of the topological concepts within his work tick?
3) Beyond mathematics, what are his cultural contributions (yes, I know I ask for too much - but it's always nice to meet someone who's a renaissance mathematician, does he have a bit of a Che Guevara flair? Any history of being a political dissident? You don't hear about Galois type revolutionary mathematicians much nowadays - which is kinda a pity...). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nukemason (talk • contribs) 00:18, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Curious, whomever wrote the "interesting questions" did not sign. Nor is there a record of this happening in the history tab. Nor are these comments really relevant to the article. Anyone mind if I just erase them? Rybu (talk) 07:47, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
