Hi, I started this page a few days ago.
I tried to keep as canon as possible, taking both the show and book series into account. But if there's anything that should be added, feel free to do so. Maetch 00:38, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
Shield?
editWhen did Alex ever have an electromagnetic shield? I saw every episode and don't remember that.--67.174.128.249
- There was a scene in an episode where Annie was starting to walk up the stairs, only to run into what was an invisible wall (it was a season 2 episode, I believe). It was noted that Alex used an aspect of her powers to create that wall. Like it's said, she's barely ever used it on the show itself, and you wouldn't have known she even had such a power otherwise. However, it's often used in the book series, so it counts as a power. Maetch 17:05, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
Shapeshifting? Or Hydromorphing
editAlex seemd to be a hydromorph to me. Hydromorph means someone who can turn into water. I don't think they called her ability that in the show but It seemed like water to me. Did she ever use it to become some ting else? Because I think we might want to change it to that. It seems more accurate.Kairos 14:28, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
- Alex's morphed form looks more like liquid metal (think T-1000) to me. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but shapeshifting seems to be the best general term. Maetch 23:15, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
Isn't her form transparent?
Also, in the article, you mention it freezing and evaporating...
Do the books or show give it a name?

- Okay, let me explain. In Season 1, Alex's morphed form was transparent. However, in Season 2 onward, it was more metallic in appearence. This is due to different SFX techniques used. Alex was indeed frozen in one of the books, Frozen Stiff (which I have), while the evaporation... well, it makes sense, being liquid and all. Finally, there is no known official name, they just call it morphing or shapeshifting. Maetch 18:07, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
