Except that there is no Irish name Aodán, and Aidan is the Anglicization of Aodhán despite the pronunciation differences. Nevertheless, there's no indication that he has ever used the Irish "back translation" of his name, any more than Rosie O'Donnell has ever called herself "Róisín Ní Dhómhnaill". —Angr16:26, 12 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
