Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it fills in a missing page on one of the Chiefs of the Cree Indians. Lack of a page while trying to retain knowledge from a link is in excusable, even if the page is pointless and/or void of a topic. The ability to click a link and recieve the knowledge from said page is entirely the point of a Wikipedia edit.

This may well be true, but merely copying the text that already exists at Cree#Notable chiefs does not help anything. If you have nothing more to say on the topic, then this page should be (and has been change to) a simple redirect. WikiDan61^ChatMe!_ReadMe!! 20:58, 18 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
