In the article the name of Ahmet Şık is spelled correctly. If you do not use special characters you should at least spell the surname Shik in order to distinguish it from the "bad" word used in street language.

Improvement should be easy. There are pages in the German Wikipedia and the Turkish Wikipedia with correct spelling. The current dispute on the draft book that Ahmet Şık wrote "The Army of the Imam" (tr: İmamın Ordusu), for which he has been imprisoned for one months now, can be found in many places. Most detailed are the English pages of the Democratic Turkey Forum. Some newspaper articles in English are
