As noted by the box above, this content is designated for merger following a deletion discussion. The issue left open from that discussion was the merger target. The three merger !votes each suggested a different target article. In order from general to specific they were:

- I vote for Operation Ocean Shield, as it is a more specific article about the NATO operation and as it already has a brief mention about this event. Natg 19 (talk) 20:18, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
