Drugs
editIn the drug section, there is the following note: "in this case it is actually propiophenone not PhAc". What "case" does it refer to? Is a listed drug not produced from acteophenone? Sandcherry (talk) 03:39, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
- That note was previously following the statement "Allegedly also for phenylpropanolamine". So someone claims PPA is made from acetophenone but someone else disputes, instead claiming that it comes from the other propiophenone. These specific examples appear to have been originally added without any new cites beyond the current Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Encyclopedia. and Process Chemistry in the Pharmaceutical Industry refs. I don't have access to them to verify. But Erowid agrees with the propiophenone approach.[1] DMacks (talk) 06:00, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
- The laundry-list of drugs without cites is a usual sock pattern; I've removed it altogether. DMacks (talk) 06:04, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
