Overall Quality of the Article

edit

This reads like a PR statement from the company, and has clearly been written by someone promoting the fund. This is not what wikipedia is for.

Name of the WP Article

edit

The name of the firm is "Accel", not Accel Partners. The name of the article should be changed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.196.163.157 (talk) 06:10, 10 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Consolidation and Clarity

edit

Hello, I'd like to suggest improvements to this article that would consolidate some of the information, introduce sourcing where needed, and present the data more coherently. My initial suggestion is to merge the current Portfolio and Investments sections, replacing them with an Investment section with the following text and chart:

Accel focuses on enterprise/SaaS and consumer investments and works with seed, early, growth-stage companies worldwide.[1] The firm's growth capital investments focus on more developed companies that require a larger amount of capital to expand their business. Notable investments include:
Year Investment
2020s Bumble[2], Klaviyo[3], Linear[4], Synthesia[5] H Company[6], Vercel[7]
2010s 1Password[8], Atlassian[9], CrowdStrike[10], Deliveroo[11], Docusign[12] Dropcam[13], Fiverr[14] Frame.io[15], Freshworks[16] Jet.com[17], Lynda[18], Miro[19], Qualtrics[20], Scale AI[21], Segment[22], Spotify[23], Supercell[24] Squarespace[25], Swiggy[26], Tenable[27],UiPath[28] Venmo[29]
2000s Cloudera[30], Dropbox[31], Facebook[32], Flipkart (acquired by Walmart)[33], Groupon[34], Slack[35], Kayak[36]
1980s-1990s MetroPCS[37], UUNet[38], Polycom[39], RealNetworks[40]
