Relation with Integration by parts
editMaybe we should remark that Abel's summation formula is a special case of (a general formulation of) the integration by parts? It is the special case in which one of the functions has jump-discontinuities at the integers, so that its derivative exists as a measure, namely being a linear combination of deltas. --Shoenemann (talk) 16:21, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
