Why are Ian and Hermine not listed in alphabetical order?
Hurricane Ian formed before Hermine as Tropical Depression Nine, but it did not become a tropical storm (and thus receive a name) until after Hermine was named. Storms are listed by order of formation rather than order of naming. |

Danielle didn't cause much damage, and its met history wasn't all that significant. I believe the season article can handle all of the content, and that the Hurricane Danielle (2022) article should be merged. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 00:15, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
- Merge, I did my own evaluation and there isn't that much that isn't in the season's article from the preparations and impacts section. There are only 634 words and 4271 bytes in the prose as well as 10,000 overall which is among the smallest I've seen. ✶Quxyz✶ 03:01, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
- Merge. The question is, does it warrant a standalone article? No. The article's content can be said in the section. It doesn't pass WP:SUSTAINED either; the only sufficient secondary coverage is the TCR report on Danielle; I do not find brief mentions in secondary coverage sufficient. No secondary coverage on the impacts, either; thus, merge into the section in this article, 2022 Atlantic hurricane season#Hurricane Danielle. ~ Tails Wx (he/him, aroace, 🐾) 03:21, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
- Merge – Like others, my conclusion is that, given the limited impact and limited coverage, Danielle '22 does not meet the standard for a stand-alone storm article. Also, given the size of this article, its contents can easily, without issue, be incorporated into the season article. Drdpw (talk) 16:34, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
- Merge – Fails WP:SUSTAINED and does not meet WPTC's notability req's for a standalone article. JayTee⛈️ 15:13, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
