Filing deadline
editThe deadline for filing to run is April 24, 2018. After the Michigan Secretary of State office's list of candidates is released, all potential candidates not on the official list will be deleted. Steelbeard1 (talk) 02:01, 12 October 2017 (UTC)
Candidates list
editNow that the Michigan Secretary of State's office has a candidates list, we can use that to make updates to this article. The link is at [1]. Steelbeard1 (talk) 16:03, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
Travis Wines
editI noticed that one of the candidates, Travis Wines, made an edit not backed by a supporting citation regarding the District 5 race. I removed his non-cited edit and ask the admins to temporarily block him until after the election. Steelbeard1 (talk) 13:46, 7 October 2018 (UTC)
Results
editNow that all the votes are in from [2], we should work on updating the article. I've started with some of the results. Please help me finish. Thanks. Steelbeard1 (talk) 19:04, 9 November 2018 (UTC)
Present tense no longer appropriate
editThis article is about an election that took place in 2018. It is now 2020. Why is so much of this article in the present tense? I particularly noticed the statement that “Mike Bishop is the incumbent”. He WAS the incumbent. He was defeated. Slotkin is now the incumbent. Similar instances occur throughout the article. Is there some reason why this should not be changed? Poihths (talk) 00:30, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
