Expanding
editI plan to expand this article using information from the Portuguese language Wikipedia.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 13:07, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Main Page link
editDon't you think the news headline on the main page should be pointing to this article now? PHF 15:53, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
- Sure, I can take care of that.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 16:19, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Averting an edit war
editPlease don't put comments about the accuracy of figures directly in the article. Do the research, or bring it up here. I am specifically talking about the number of people dead that were suspected criminals. I got the numbers from reading a Brazilian news source. According to the source, 93 people have died that were suspected criminals, but not necessarily affiliated with PCC.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 19:53, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Miscellaneous
editHey, good idea to split the events from the PCC article! Both articles are much, much better now! 201.1.22.168 03:14, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
Redirect
editI think that is not a smart idea to redirect Violence in Brazil to this page. -- 201.69.46.120 (talk) 14:06, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Tense (Language)
editThe article is confusing as the tense is inconsistent. It reads as if written shortly after the event, however now I think it should be updated to a more historical diction. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2607:F140:400:1024:54B8:1A8F:DC48:76F3 (talk) 03:42, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
