Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason

edit

As far as I know, the game has already been released. In the article, it is mentioned in the future sense. 97.125.51.63 (talk) 00:33, 21 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

During several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!

Many current links are invalid. They return 404 or is in Russian. There are 2 1C Company devisions. They are entertainment software and business software. Entertainment software has enough English references and links to distinct games only. There are too small external resources describing 1C entertainment activity in common. Business software (1C:Enterprise) having many Russian sources cannot provide English ones. English information about 1C:Enterprise is too small. The top 1C:Enterprise resource according to Google request is http://www.1centerprise.com . The second resource is www.1c.ru/eng /title.htm according to popularity. Now I cannot view any article references to www.1c.ru/eng/title.htm. Elisy (talk) 05:09, 5 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

The link http://1c.ru/eng/title.htm is working 3/25/13. It tells web browsers that it is in Russian, and the menus are in Russian, but the actual content is in English. The link http://www.buka.com/int_sales.news.7836.aspx is still broken.

I don't know if it meets quality standards, this site: http://directory.technologyevaluation.com/1c-enterprise-8-erp-oid454.html lists the main modules of the software package.

fwiw, I found the existing page mostly helpful. Thanks.

What is homepage?

edit

What is 1C Company correct English homepage? There are 3 variants http://www.1c.ru, http://www.1centerprise.com or http://www.1cpublishing.eu. The first link is in Russian and may be valid for Russian article. The http://www.1centerprise.com describes company business devision only and the third describes entertainment software only. Maddox Games

edit

The article mentions the famous IL-2 games. My recollection is that they were developed by a company called Maddox Games, under the supervision of a chap called Oleg Maddox. Neither he nor Maddox Games are mentioned at all in this article or anywhere in the various IL-2 spinoffs, except in passing. Is there a reason for this? -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 20:46, 10 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Cut Enterprise content that might fit into its own article

edit

The stack of components is: Server cluster, “Thin” client, “Thick” client, Web client, Application server administration tools, Development tool – IDE, runtime for iOS, Android, and Windows 10 Mobile (1C mobile platform), runtime for Windows OS, Linux and MacOS. There is one single IDE to develop applications for all these platforms and systems. The same source code of one business application is used to run on all these environments. The platform has tools and components to develop scalable and fault-tolerant applications. The interface of platform and IDE are localized into 20 languages including English, German, Chinese and Spanish.[1] --SNAAAAKE!! Doesn't the article sound like an ad?

edit

I just noticed the following (as of feb 2020)

By the decision of Russian Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) the trademark ‘1C’ is considered ‘well known’ on the territory of the Russian Federation since 1 January of 2006[4].

and

Most famous business applications

and

One of the pillars of 1C’s success on the IT market in Russia and several other countries is a franchising business model

and

All the 1C franchises are profitable and the majority of them have been partners for 10-15 years

Is it only me, or the article sounds as if it tries to portray the company Mickey Mousy? No crticism section; no "ups and downs" etc Tabdiukov (talk) 05:09, 3 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

looks to be often edited by someone who may an interest in the topic. Special:Contributions/JuliyaLe I have added welcome message to their talk. Mlepisto (talk) 13:37, 21 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

1C redirection

edit

@Ohnoitsjamie: I am questioning whether 1C should redirect here, perhaps you have some thoughts? Seems like there are many more common uses of it in the English language than a Russian software company such as currency or unit of measure. I'm not sure how to address that? Mlepisto (talk) 17:38, 24 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

1C is a disambiguation page now. See Talk:1C and Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2020 July 24#1C. – wbm1058 (talk) 12:42, 31 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
