Why so much on Robertson?
editWhy is the section headed "Republican Primaries" all about Robertson? Surely Bush and Dole deserve a mention! SarahLawrence Scott (talk) 03:54, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
Where are Robertson's endorsements?
editThere are endorsements of other people. Since he came in third place, I'm sure somebody with a high-profile like Robertson would get some endorsements. J390 (talk) 02:26, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
Haig's state of residence
editUnsure of where Haig lived in 1988, but put Connecticut as the state of residence since he lived there during his time as secretary of state. Anyone who knows more? Marima (talk) 13:11, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
So much Trump coverage
editI think it's likely that this article exaggerates the significance of Donald Trump's floating of a presidential campaign in 1988 due to his present fame. I don't feel confident enough to cut down some of the coverage myself, perhaps adding more detail on Bush's campaign, but I think it would be the right move. Eliminate Trump coverage
editTrump coverage should be completely removed. 24.17.124.14 (talk) 15:12, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
Rumsfeld?
editThe main article for the election mentions that Donald Rumsfeld was a candidate for the nomination, as does Rumsefeld's own article. These claims are backed up with sources. How come he isn't mentioned here? EA0926 (talk) 01:40, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
