New York City as host city?

edit

The infobox says that the host cities are New York City, United States, and Stoke Mandeville, United Kingdom. However, the prose says that the contest was held at Hofstra University, which is not in New York City, but rather in suburban Nassau County, New York. The Mitchel Athletic Complex is in Uniondale, New York, which is roughly 7 miles from the NYC border.

As such, should NYC just be changed to New York (state)? – Epicgenius (talk) 20:19, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Canonically?

edit

I think this article is extremely confusing and uses inappropriate terminology and unusual sentencing. Why would the original name of a sporting event be canonically referred to by its current name? The term seems completely out of place in the opening sentence of this article. As the Paralympics unfold and these articles gain more traction... Blueberryfish (talk) 03:30, 31 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
