One earthquake
editI've looked for more recent sources than Ribarič (1979). Fitzko et al. 2005 and Camassi et al. 2011 contain more details and both agree that there was only one earthquake, not two. I'll try to add some of this information to the article when I get time. Mikenorton (talk) 10:08, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for that. I was thinking about pinging you on this one. Dawnseeker2000 17:13, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
- I'll also add in the details from the CFTI4MED catalogue [1], which describes the effects at each location and again agrees that there was only one earthquake. Mikenorton (talk) 09:11, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
Earthquake placement
editSome sources I read in the past about this earthquake have debunked Italian teories about earthquake being in Furlania. I will cite appropriate sources the next time I'll go to library, but for now I've only placed {{disputed inline}}. A09 (talk) 10:20, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
- As no one has bothered to add a source for the disputed claim, I have now removed it. --TadejM my talk 13:26, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
Expansion
editI've pretty much finished with expanding this article. The aftermath section doesn't read particularly well and there's probably more that could be added to the "Damage" section. @TadejM:, you're probably better placed than me to make further improvements, particularly with the Slovenian sources. - Thanks for the expansion. I may possibly return to this article. --TadejM my talk 18:19, 6 May 2024 (UTC)
