It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Alberta, Colorado, Connecticut, Maine, Manitoba, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Brunswick, New Jersey, New York, Nova Scotia, Ohio, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
