Synopsis

The film tells the 300-year-old story of the sacrifice of 363 Bishnois who gave their lives to protect trees in Rajasthan.[8] The Bishnois, followers of Jambheshwar Maharaj, are known for their devotion to nature and wildlife conservation.[9] The story focuses on Amrita Devi, a Bishnoi woman who led her people in resisting King Abhai Singh’s attempt to cut down trees for his Flower Palace. Despite facing violence, the Bishnois stood firm, sacrificing their lives to protect their environment. The incident remains a significant example of courage and dedication to nature.
