Ryazan Governorate (Russian: Рязанская губерния, romanized: Ryazanskaya guberniya) was an administrative-territorial unit (guberniya) of the Russian Empire and the Russian SFSR, which existed from 1796 to 1929.[1] Its capital was in Ryazan.[2]
