- Eight Venezuelan soldiers are killed in clashes with irregular armed groups operating on the Colombian border. - The Taiwanese Ministry of Labor bans both domestic and foreign companies from advertising jobs located in China, especially ones related to the integrated circuit and semiconductor industries.
